Alabama freshman tight end Major Tennison was arrested early Wednesday morning on a charge of second-degree possession of marijuana, according to the Tuscaloosa Sheriff’s Office online jail database.

Tennison, a member of the Crimson Tide’s 2017 signing class, played sparingly in his first season on campus, catching just two passes for 30 total yards in five games played.

Tennison was booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail early Wednesday morning on the second-degree charge, which is a misdemeanor, and remained in jail as of 10 a.m. Wednesday on $300 bond.
