A 29-year-old Bismarck man was arrested early Wednesday for allegedly trying to sell fake weed.
Barrett Sangalaza was charged with intent to deliver an imitation controlled substance.
A woman called police at 12:52 a.m. to report that a man was trying to sell weed to her and others in a parking lot, the affidavit said. When police arrived, the suspect allowed officers to search him. They allegedly found a Ziploc baggy in his left pants pocket containing the grass.
Sangalaza told officers he showed people the bag but denied trying to sell it, the affidavit said.
