458 Grams of Marijuana Found at Thomasville Man’s Home: Sheriff


The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office found over 400 grams of marijuana at a home in Thomasville Tuesday in a drug investigation.

Detectives seized 17 glass jars containing 458 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at Charles Clark’s home on the 200 block of Kennedy Road. Four marijuana plants were also found in a building outside the home.


55-year-old Clark fought with detectives during their search of the home, according to the sheriff’s office.

Clark was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell or Deliver Marijuana, Maintaining a Dwelling to Keep a Controlled Substance, Resisting a Public Officer and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Clark is in Davidson County Jail under a $20,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Davidson County District Court on Nov. 30.
