CLEVELAND, Ohio — Fourteen elementary school students were given marijuana-laced gummy bears on Monday, police said.
Cleveland police said they are investigating the incident at Anton Grdina School on East 71st Street.
Four 5-year-old girls and six boys between the ages of 5 and 9 were taken to University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in stable condition, Ciaccia said.
The students complained of having stomach aches, according to a Cleveland police dispatch report.
Five other students’ parents declined medical treatment for the kids, Ciaccia said. Police are investigating the incident to see how the kids got the gummies.
A 5-year-old gave out the gummies, according to the police dispatch report.
A school spokeswoman did not immediately return a message.
