A community meeting on the topic is planned next week at a Sonoma County high school. Police said no children are allowed at the event.
SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A free community meeting about “Parenting in the Era of Marijuana Legalization” is planned for next week at a high school in Sonoma County. Analy High School is hosting the meeting which is scheduled to take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, according to the Sebastopol Police Department.
The informative presentation will focus on “balancing the science of marijuana with practical, hands-on training on how you can talk with and protect your teen,” Sebastopol police said.
Parents, guardians and members of the public are encouraged to attend. Police said, however, that no children should be brought to the meeting.
Analy High School is located at 6950 Analy Ave. in Sebastopol. The meeting will be held in the AHS Theatre.
