Two drug busts lead to three arrests in Prestonsburg, Kentucky


Two drug busts led to three arrests in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.

Police tell us the first happened on Sunday morning near Big Branch of Bull Creek during a traffic stop.

Prestonsburg Police Chief Larry Woods said officers observed two people inside a car trying to hide drugs.

After searching the car, officers say they found 20 grams of meth and nearly $3,000 in cash.

Both Jessie Craft and Elizabeth Skeens were arrested and charged with trafficking meth. Craft also has two other trafficking meth charges.

Also in Prestonsburg, a tip led police to an illegal marijuana growing operation on Cliff Road.

Officers found 267 marijuana plants on the back porch of a house.

William Osborne was arrested and charged with cultivating marijuana.
