STAFFORD — Two men from the Manahawkin section of town were arrested and six pounds of marijuana and 100 vials of THC oil were seized following a month-long investigation into marijuana dealing in southern Ocean County, authorities said.
Erik Kretschmer and Garrett Mandrona, both 23, were arrested on various drug charges Monday morning after authorities searched two homes and car that were being used to store and distribute marijuana, according to a news release Wednesday from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.
Detectives determined Kretschmer and Mandrona were using homes on Buccaneer Lane and Barnacle Drive, respectively, and Kretschmer was using a 2012 Ford Focus to sell and distribute illegal drugs including marijuana, police said.
Authorities obtained search warrants for both homes and the car and at 5 a.m. Monday, Stafford drug enforcement police and members of the Ocean County Regional SWAT Team conducted simultaneous searches.
Both men were arrested in their homes and authorities seized more than six pounds of marijuana and 100 vials of THC oil, which is made from the active ingredient in marijuana, police said.
