The Miami-Dade Police Department seized almost $4 million worth of marijuana in June during a drug investigation.
Authorities say the Narcotics Bureau showed up at nursery in southwest Miami Dade after receiving a tip about illegal drug activity in May. When they arrived, they came across Juan Oliva-Villar who ran from the scene.
Police later got a search warrant and discovered an operational marijuana hydroponic labratory, they said. They also seized 192 marijuana plants, which had a street value of about $3.8 million, police added.
Police issued an arrest warrant for Oliva-Villar on charges of trafficking marijuana.
