Nearly $40,000 of weed and “spice” taken off streets

Houston County – The Houston County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release on Monday that a month long investigation had concluded with the arrest of two individuals.

This came after search warrants were executed at multiple locations in Dothan by the Houston County Sheriff’s Office and the Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force (ADETF).

During the execution of the search warrants, approximately 14 pounds of marijuana, 9.5 ounces of synthetic controlled substance analogue, and components of a laboratory used for manufacturing synthetic marijuana were located.

36-year-old Rasheed Demond Johnson and 28-year-old Quinesha Monique McGhee of Dothan were arrested and charged with Drug Trafficking in Cannabis and Drug Trafficking in Synthetic Controlled Substance Analogue.

Johnson’s bond was set at $3,000,000 and McGhee’s bond was set at $1,000,000.
