KCSO seizes over $60K in drug bust in Rosamond

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – In Rosamond, Friday, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office seized an estimated amount over $55,000 worth of processed marijuana and marijuana concentrates from two dispensaries.

KCSO narcotics unit executed search warrants on two marijuana dispensaries in Rosamond: “The Plug” and “5 Gramz Stop” on Sierra Highway.

Officers seized over 22 pounds of processed marijuana, 1,667 grams of marijuana concentrates, 31 packages of edibles and $5,629 in cash, and a small amount of suspected cocaine.

In all, the value totaled more than $60,000.

20-year-old Jeremy Beverly was arrested for a misdemeanor violation of marijuana sales.

And 26-year-old Brandon Feil was booked into the Mojave jail for felony violation of maintaining a business for the purposes of marijuana sales, and misdemeanor drug charges.
