Two Florida women were arrested after deputies found more than 100 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop Wednesday.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said deputies stopped a car traveling eastbound on I-80 near the Hwy 77 exit at about 2:55 p.m. Wednesday for following too closely.
Upon making with the occupants, LSO said deputies suspected criminal activity and had a K-9 called over.
Deputies then searched the vehicle and found 103 pounds of marijuana in three large hockey bags. They also found a ginger beer with THC inside, and wax and hash.
Deputies seized the drugs, worth an estimated $600,000.
Arrested was 26-year-old Kristin Schultz and 27-year-old Felicia Dangeleo, both from Florida.
They were lodged for possession with intent to deliver.
